MEET OUR MELBOURNE ZOO EVENTS TEAM
TOM CRAIG-MOONIE, Executive Chef
Tom trained under the Michelin-starred chef Andy Hunt at Hunts Restaurant in Bristol, UK, and worked in some of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants in England and Wales. He then opened his own country pub in 2008. Most recently, he has worked as Executive Development Chef for Chartwells (Compass Group UK). His main culinary influences are Keith Floyd and Rick Stein – both world-renown English celebrity chefs, restauranteurs, television presenters and authors – and his mum by whom he credits his love and passion for food, which started at the early age of four! And his ambition? ‘To experience the culinary delights of Australia and to immerse myself fully into the culture and most definitely the amazing foodie scene that is Melbourne.’
